How can I measure my progress?

Chatterbox offers several ways to measure your language learning progress:

Tests and exams:

  • Mid-course tests: every 5 lessons you will have a Mid-course test to complete which will measure your reading, listening, and writing skills.
  • Practice and Final Exam: we offer a Practice Exam to prepare you for your Final Exam, which will test your reading, listening, writing and speaking skills.

Progress bars:

  • Lesson progress: measure your progress with the lesson’s progress bar.

  • Assignment progress: You can also find a progress bar for each of the lesson’s assignments (units) so it’s easier to know when you will reach 100%.

Statuses:

  • [Start] - You have not started the assignment.
  • [Continue] - You have started the assignment and have more to learn.
  • [Review] - You have reached 100% progress and have completed the assignment.

Why do assignments have different statuses?

This is because of those handy study breaks that encourage you to review a little bit of the lesson each day before your Live Practice.

We recommend that you achieve at least 70% in each self-study assignment before meeting with your Language Coach.

Whenever you are unsure or require extra help, contact your Language Helper. We also encourage you to ask for extra resources from your Language Helper if you need more practice.
